When Pakistan women cricket team returned home on Monday morning, there was neither any officials of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to receive them nor was there any transport facility available for them, even one female cricketer was picked up by her father on a motorbike.

After taking part in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 in England and losing all their seven matches, when the national women cricketers returned home, unfortunately, there was not a single PCB official present at the airport to receive them and the board also didn’t arrange any transport facility for them. When most of the women cricketers managed their personal transport to go home, one female cricketer was picked up by her father on a motorbike.

Pakistan women team gave the worst performance in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 as they lost all the seven matches they have played so far. The sources revealed on Monday that with such pathetic performance, big changes are expected in the national women team as well as team management. Sana Mir is likely to be removed as captain, while interim women coach Sabih Azhar is also likely to be sacked after this poor performance of women team.

The sources further said that Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Shaharyar M Khan is very angry with women team and management and he now wants an immediate overhaul in the team as well as management.

“Most of the non-performing teams as well as old players, who are now have well passed their peak will be replaced with the young and talented girls, who are performing exceptionally at national level and are knocking at the national team’s door. By giving them proper and fair, better results can be get from the national women team,” said one source who requested anonymity.
