LAHORE - The Punjab Healthcare Commission on Wednesday sealed two lab collection centres, and issued notices to seven others for not implementing the requisite standards.  According to the details, the PHC teams carried out special inspections of 12 labs and collections of the city. Out of these, Doctors’ Lab Collection Centre and Excel Lab Collection Centre, located opposite Jinnah Hospital, were sealed since these were neither registered with the PHC nor employed qualified staff.  Moreover, Salman Chugtai Lab, Pioneer Lab, Mega Test Lab, Clin Lab, Zeenat Lab Collection Centres, Al-Nasr Lab Collection Centre and Mughal Labs Collection Centre were issued notices for not implementing the requisite standards. Their respective administrations have directed to ensure complete implementation of the PHC directions. 

They have been further warned of stringent action in case of any violations in the future.
