PAF Chief pays farewell calls on COAS, DG ISI

ISLAMABAD - Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan on Tuesday paid farewell call on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the GHQ in Rawalpindi.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) directorate, the COAS thanked the Air Chief for his services to the nation during a long and illustrious career. He also appreciated Air Chief’s dynamic leadership and professionalism displayed during ‘Operation Swift Retort’ and critical support rendered in fight against terrorism. Because of his immense efforts and quality leadership, Pakistan Air Force today is a force second to none, said the COAS. Earlier on arrival at the GHQ, the Air Chief was presented guard of honour at Yadgar-e-Shuhada.

Meanwhile, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan also paid a farewell call on Director General Inter-Services Intelligence, Lieutenant General Faiz Hamid. DG ISI received the Service Chief. DG ISI thanked the Air Chief for his contribution in enhancing the professional capability of PAF during his illustrious career. The Air Chief also appreciated performance of ISI in guarding and furthering national interests, according to the ISPR.
