Terrorist with Rs5m head money arrested in Mardan

Peshawar - Police in Mardan district on Tuesday claimed to have arrested a terrorist, having Rs5 million bounty on his head.

District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Zahidullah Khan told journalists that on a tip-off received from the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), he formed a team led by DSP city circle Inam Jan and Sadar Police Station SHO Murad Khan, who arrested Zahoor Khan who had been wanted by police in cases of extortions, murder and spreading terror in the area. 

He said the government had announced Rs5 million head money for the arrest of Zahoor, who was arrested from Garhi Kapura area of Mardan district.

The accused had been receiving extortions after threatening the well-off people and also attacked a number of people for refusing to give extortion money.
