On Monday, ambassador of European Union Androulla Kaminara called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), matters pertaining to mutual interest, regional security situation including recent developments in Afghan Peace Process came under discussion during the meeting.

The COAS said that Pakistan values its relations with EU and we look forward to strengthen mutually beneficial multi-domain relations based on common interests.

The visiting dignitary appreciated Pakistan s sincere efforts for bringing peace and stability in the region, especially the Afghan Peace Process.
