Man who sued MQM-H chief attacked

KARACHI - A complainant, Khalid Hussain, who got registered a case against MQM-H Chief Afaq Ahmed and his four party activists for kidnapping and torturing him last month, was wounded in an incident of firing. According to reports, the victim was shot and injured near his residence located in Landhi area. He received a bullet in his leg and was taken to ASH for treatment. Hospital sources said the victim sustained a minor gunshot wound on his leg. Police officials said that no case was registered as the victim was not in a position to record his statement. Hussain, who works for the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board, had alleged that at the behest of Afaq Ahmed, four MQM-H workers, including Raees Topi, Yameen alias Hakla and Ejaz Babu, kidnapped and tortured him on October 6.
