Ghulam Sarwar asks public not to discuss DG ISI issue on every forum

Rawalpindi-Federal Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan said that issue of appointment of DG ISI should not be discussed on public forums as the matter would be resolved soon and amicably by the government.
“I will advise everyone to speak very less on the issue for the better interest of national security,” said the minister while addressing a press conference at PTI Public Secretariat here on Saturday.
He said the government and the military are on the same page and there is no tension between the two institutions.
He said the inflation rate in Pakistan is very low in comparison to other countries of the world.
Ghulam Sarwar Khan was of view that not only petrol is cheaper but other edibles are available at affordable prices in Pakistan.
“The rate of petrol is higher in 130 countries than Pakistan,” he mentioned.
He claimed the government would give 40 per cent subsidy on rates of flour, sugar and pulses.
“The government has fixed Rs1120 the rate for 20kg bag of flour while price of sugar is Rs89.89 in the market,” said the minister.
“I admit the people of Pakistan are suffering a lot due to price hike,” he said.
Responding to a query of media men, Ghulam Sarwar Khan replied that PIA continued flight operation for Afghanistan while putting the lives of pilots in risk.
He added ISIS claimed responsibility of recent two suicide attacks in Afghanistan. “ISIS is acting like a puppet in hands of Jews and spreading terror in Afghanistan,” he said.
“Some quarters are involved in airing rumours about joining PTI by former federal minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan,” he said in response to another question.
