Covid-related deaths cross 27,000 mark with 66 fresh casualties

ISLAMABAD - The country’s Covid-19 death toll on Thursday crossed 27,000 mark after 66 deaths were reported during the last 24 hours.  According to the latest data released by National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), Pakistan’s coronavirus death toll has risen to 27,004.  The country reported as many 3,012 fresh cases of Covid-19 after 56,778 tests were conducted across Pakistan in the last 24 hours.  The overall positivity rate in the country has been recorded at 5.3 percent during the same period of time.  The country administered 909,820 doses of Covid-19 vaccines in the last 24 hours. Pakistan has administered at least 71,311,567 doses of vaccines till now.   During last 24 hours, most deaths occurred in Punjab followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).  Out of 66 deaths, 19 patients died on ventilators, 58 died in hospitals and eight died out of hospitals.
