Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said on Sunday that no meeting has been scheduled with his Indian counterpart while talking to the media on his official visit to the UAE.
Addressing a press conference in Dubai on Sunday, he said that Pakistan will be completing 50 years UAE of friendship and we want the relationship between the two countries to even further strengthen.
Qureshi said that the main purpose of the visit was to improve bilateral relations, adding that he will meet the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates tomorrow.
Earlier, addressing a ceremony, the Foreign Minister said that it was gratifying that despite the global epidemic, economic diplomacy was showing positive results.
"Our bilateral trade relations with the UAE are improving day by day," he said and added the main purpose of his visit is to promote bilateral trade relations and cooperation between Pakistan and the UAE in multilateral fields.
"I am happy that a large number of Pakistanis live in the UAE and are playing a positive role in its development with their hard work and dedication," he said. The welfare of overseas Pakistanis and the solution of their problems on a priority basis is one of the top priorities of our government, he added.
