TANDO MASTI - Two youth were killed in a road accident near Tando Masti in district Khairpur on Sunday.
According to police, two youngsters were on their way for some work on the bike which was hit by a fast-moving trailer on the National Highway at Moosani stop near Tando Masti. As a result, both died.
The deceased were identified as Ahsan Ali Lashari and Sabir Ali Lashari. The driver managed to flee to an unknown destination soon after the accident.
Police shifted their bodies to a local hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the heirs. The trailer driver fled soon after the accident. The police have started a probe into the incident besides launching search for the fleeing driver. The incident has created a mourning atmosphere in the victims’ houses.
Meanwhile, a woman and youth were shot dead allegedly for having illicit relations in village Mohabat Lashari within the precints of Sidhoja police station on Sunday.
According to police, the ghastly incident took place in Mohabbat Lashari village near Moro town of Sindh, where accused shot dead Saddam Magsi, aged 28, son of Ameerjan Magsi, and Zameeran Magsi, 35, wife of Maula Bux Magsi. The accused fled soon after committing the crime.
The police shifted their bodies to Moro hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the heirs. The incident has created a mourning atmosphere in the village, while a tense situation also prevailed.
The police have started a probe into the incident. No arrest could be reported till filing of this news.
