Jennifer Lawrence reportedly ‘isn’t the jealous type’, but was worried about Nicholas Hoult filming alongside Kristen Stewart.
The 23-year-old actress and her beau are believed to have split earlier this year after struggling to see each other due to their hectic schedules. Nicholas is currently filming drama sci-fi Equals alongside Kristen, and Jennifer was reportedly unsure about the pair working together during her relationship with the British actor.
‘Nick and Jennifer haven’t been able to spend much time together recently as they’ve both been so busy. Jennifer isn’t normally the jealous type, but she was wary of Kristen and felt jealous that she was working with Nicholas,’ a source told British magazine Closer.
Kristen also went through a high-profile breakup. She dated her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson for four years on and off, but they split for good after reportedly being unable to move on from her affair with married director Rupert Sanders in 2012. Despite Nicholas and Jennifer’s split, it is hoped the pair will be able to reunite when the timing is better.
‘Nicholas and Jennifer are great together - he swears nothing is going on with Kristen, and friends hope he and Jen can make it work,’ an insider added. The couple dated on and off since 2011 after meeting on the set of X-Men: First Class. It is thought they went their separate ways in May, but kept things positive as they have to work together again soon. ‘They split on decent terms. They know that at the end of the year they’ll be back on set together for the next X-Men film,’ a source previously said.
