Uplift work in Sadiq College Women’s University Bahawalpur soon

Bahawalpur - The 11th meeting of the Finance and Planning Committee at the Government Sadiq College Women’s University Bahawalpur was held at the Conference Room Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat under the Chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Saeqa Imtiaz Asif Vice Chancellor Government Sadiq College Women’s University Bahawalpur.

The meeting also discussed other ongoing development works in the university including Sports Scholarships and Remuneration, Fee Structure, Creation of Pension Funds, University Guest House Regulation, Day Care Regulation.

The meeting was attended by Muhammad Shahsawar Director Local Audit Fund Multan, Mrs. Shahida Ahmed MPA Punjab Assembly, Dr. Ashfaq Mehmood Qureshi Registrar Sadiq College Women’s University Bahawalpur and Prof. Dr. Ghulam Mustafa (Islamia University) Member Committee while Ali Ahmed Deputy Director Representative Higher Education Department.

The meeting approved the 11th budget meeting of The Government Sadiq College Women’s University Bahawalpur for the financial year 2021-22 after discussing all the agendas.  

Security arrangements reviewed

Presenting the University Budget, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Saeqa Imtiaz Asif elaborated on the performance of the University so far and informed the participants that thanks to the University’s Online Learning Management System (LMS),  It was possible to provide teaching materials and teaching facilities to the students uninterruptedly. 

More efforts are being made for a brighter future for the university.

The participants appreciated the academic, research and administrative progress of Sadiq College Women’s University on a solid foundation under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor.

Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia and District Police Officer Muhammad Faisal Kamran visited Ahmadpur Sharqiya, Mahi Tibba and Och Sharif where they inspected cleanliness, lighting and security arrangements of Muharram procession routes and meeting places.

Assistant Commissioner Syed Usman Hassan and officers of other concerned departments, members of the Peace Committee and representatives of Anjuman-e-Tajiran were also present on the occasion.  

The Deputy Commissioner said that excellent arrangements should be made for cleaning and lighting of Muharram procession routes and encroachments along the route should be removed.  

He said that officers and staff of all concerned departments should perform their duties in an efficient manner. 

The DPO reviewed the security arrangements. He said that police force has been deployed at procession routes and meeting places.  He said that foolproof security arrangements have been ensured.
