Pakistan’s salvation lies in revolution only, says Qadri

LAHORE - Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri has said that only a revolution can salvage the country from the clutches of terrorists and mullahs who have sabotaged the vision of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
According to a statement issued here on Tuesday, the PAT chief said this while addressing a ceremony in New York City wherein he was given Quaid-e-Azam award by the Pakistan League of America.
On the occasion, Dr Qadri forecasted the revolution for which the PAT was making preparation. He claimed to change the country’s destiny through green revolution in which millions of people would march without arms in their hands. He said that the Pakistani institutions, particularly the assemblies had become subservient to some dominant families, and pursued their interest regardless what happened to the masses.
He said if Pakistan had to sustain and progress, then it was necessary to get rid of these ills.
