Nawaz, Maryam back from London; Shehbaz due today

LAHORE -  PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz returned to Lahore from London on Sunday.

They were warmly received at the Lahore airport by senior party leaders. From the airport, they went straight to their Raiwind residence.

Mian Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz are scheduled to appear before the accountability court on December 19.

Earlier, the family had flown to UK 10 days back to visit Kalsoom Nawaz who is undergoing treatment for lymphoma at a London hospital.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif will leave for Pakistan on Monday (today) from London. He went through medical treatment on Sunday and was declared fit and healthy by the doctors who declared his different test reports as satisfactory.

Terrorists have no religion: Nawaz

INP adds: Former prime minister and President of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) Nawaz Sharif has said those who attack worship places have no religion or faith.

In a statement here on Sunday, he condemned the terrorist attack on a church in Quetta and said such attacks are aimed at destroying interfaith harmony.

Nawaz condoled with the bereaved families and prayed for early recovery of the injured.
