LAHORE - Sindh girls boxing team, which won the DHA Boxing Championship 2021, was honored by Commissioner Karachi Muhammad Iqbal Memon on Friday. 
Speaking at a function held at the Commissioner’s Office Karachi in honor of Sindh Girls Boxing Team, Commissioner Karachi M Iqbal Memon said: “The earth is rich in talent in every field, be it education or sports and having full potential to hoist national flags, women’s participation alongside men in other sports, including boxing, reflects positive thinking that will further enhance our soft image in the world. “Karachi administration will promote sports and populate the grounds with construction and development of the city and maintaining peace. The torch of Commonwealth Games is soon coming to Karachi and people here love sports and athletes.” Khalid Jameel Shamsi, Ghulam Abbas Jamal Adv, Asif Azeem, Asghar Baloch, Commissioner Karachi Sports Coordinator Ghulam Muhammad Khan, M Yaqub and others were also present on the occasion. They paid tributes to Martyrs of Army Public School and also offered Fateha Khawani for them.
