At least four members of a family including a couple and two children were scorched to death when a car caught fire after CNG cylinder blast here in Muzaffargharh on Saturday.
According to details, Zahid Hussain, a resident of Khairpur Sadaat was on his way to Shehr-e-Sultan when the CNG cylinder installed in the car exploded after hitting the protection bars of Saim Nala Bridge near Kalarwali area.
All the four persons present in the vehicle and identified as Zahid Hussain, his wife Kalsoom Mai, two children Mutaza 05, and Mujtaba 02, were burnt to death due to fire.
The police in assistance with local people extinguished the fire and shifted the bodies to hospital for postmortem.
