KHAIRPUR - The Sindh Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) is going to organise a public meeting on the National Highway on Sunday (today).
The gathering will be addressed by GDA members, spiritual leader Pir Sadaruddin Shah, Sayed Ghous Ali Shah, Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Federal Minister Rais Ghulam Murtaza Khan Jatoi, Ayaz Latif Palejo, Safdar Abbasi, Shafi Muhammad Shah Jamot, Dr Zulfiqar Mirza, Muhammad Ibrahim Jatoi and Zafar Ali Shah. All arrangements have been finalised and the gathering will be historical, says GDA leaders.
Two die in road accident
A youth died in a road accident near Peer Wasan on Saturday.
According to area police, a car hit motorcyclist Sajid Ali Shar at Mehran National Highway. As a result, he was injured seriously and he died on way to the hospital.
Police took his body into custody and shifted to his village Akri after autopsy at Sethrja hospital. Police arrested car driver and lodged a case.
Meanwhile, a youth, Ali Murtaza Jatoi, was electrocuted in Phullo village.
KIDNAPPED MAN SEIZED
Ghotki police raided a criminal hideout in Katchha area and recovered a kidnapped man, Mir Muhammad Memon. He was kidnapped one month ago from Qadirpur area by armed persons.
Police said kidnappers managed to escape and they recovered Memon during a search operation.
