Two cops among four injured in Chaman blast

QUETTA -  Two security men were among four injured on Wednesday in Balochistan’s border City of Chaman when some material exploded with a bang.

The police stated that a powerful explosion near police vehicle at Mall Road near District Press Club injured two policemen alongwith two civilians who were immediately shifted to Civil Hospital.

The security forces cordoned off the area The area was opened after the Bomb Disposal Squad cleared up the area.

The security men were identified Allah Gul and Rozi Khan while Attaullah and Fida Muhammad were identified as civilians.

Body found in Quetta

Police have found a body of man from Kahnsi graveyard here on Wednesday morning. According to police, upon receiving the information about the presence of the body, the police reached the site and took the body into custody. Later, the body was shifted to Quetta civil hospital’s morgue where it was identified as Shair Hassan s/o Gull Baran, a resident of Killi Pahind Khan. The body was handed over to the heirs after completion of medico-legal formalities. The Police have registered a case.
