Gilani returns home after attending NAM summit in Sharm el Sheikh

Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani Saturday returned home after representing country at the 15th summit of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), held in Egyptian Red Sea resort Sharm el Sheikh. The Prime Minister flew into Islamabad from Cairo where he stayed for a few hours after his flight was re-routed from the earlier planned departure from Sharm el Sheikh. During his four-day official visit, the Prime Minister besides addressing at the NAM platform also held an important meeting with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, that arrived at a positive outcome of joint declaration between the two countries on continuing efforts for dialogue process. On the sidelines of the summit, Gilani also held bilateral meetings with the leaders of Afghanistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Bahrain, Jordan and with the Secretary General of United Nations.
