ISLAMABAD - Islamabad Whites outclassed Gilgit/Baltistan by seven wickets in the 8th Regional Inter-District Senior Women Cricket Tournament match here at Marghazar Cricket ground on Monday. Gilgit/Baltistan skipper won the toss and opted to bat first in overcast conditions but her decision backfired, as the entire team was bowled out for a meager 72 in only 20.2 overs. Fazila Akhlaq remained top scorer with 32 runs hitting five fours while Diana Baig added 21. Samina Bibi ripped through Gilgit/Baltistan batting claiming 5-20 while Anoshey Malik got 4-20. Islamabad Whites achieved the target in 19.5 overs losing three wickets. Thanks to Mariam Hassan, who made unbeaten 35 with the help of six fours, while Huma Shafiq added 17 studied with three fours.
