Lockdown imposed in six Peshawar areas

Peshawar - District administration has imposed lockdown in view of increase in coronavirus cases in six areas of the provincial capital. An official statement said that on the recommendation of the health department, the administration had imposed lockdown in Larama, Haryana Payan, Sarband, Pishtakhara, New Zaryab Colony and a housing society Zintara Residences.

 

The administration has banned entry into the mentioned areas. However, the supply of essential commodities would be allowed as per routine.

The administration also banned gatherings in these areas and asked the traders to shut their shops and businesses till further orders.

Meanwhile, around 22 school and 31 food outlets have been closed and 104 citizens fined for violation of the COVID-19 SOPs.
