Bhakkar admin clears encroached road on Ombudsman orders

| Kabirwala man gets Rs0.65m pending against Food Department

LAHORE   -  Punjab Ombudsman, taking prompt action on a complaint submitted by Riaz Hussain, a resident of Basti Jongli, district Bhakkar, has got cleared through local administration a public road which was encroached by Ameer Hussain, a resident of the same area. 

Riaz Hussain, in his application had requested clearance of the encroached road connecting four villages which was illegally occupied by a local resident Ameer Hussain for the last 35 years. The local residents were facing problems, besides wastage of their precious time and money causing mental stress to them. On the directions of Ombudsman Punjab, the local administration got active and cleared this public road. People of the area have thanked the Ombudsman Punjab for this favour.

Similarly, a resident of tehsil Kabirwala district Khanewal was also provided relief for paying an amount of rupees 6,55,800, which was lying pending with the Food Department against his payment of his sold wheat last year.

Raja Faiz Sultan, resident of tehsil Sarai Alamgir district Gujrat had requested in his complaint to the Ombudsman Punjab regarding the commencement of the classes after completion of the government school building. 

He said in his application that the government school building was completed 3 years back but the classes and other matters of the school were not functional yet. 

While taking serious this matter Ombudsman Punjab issued directions to the Education Department after which the regular classes in the said school have been started for which a lot of children of local population are getting facilitated.
