Flight operation for Zhob resumes after 2 years: PIA

Two years back, PIA stated suspension of flight operation for Zhob, Balochistan, owing to some incurred losses. However, recently the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has resumed its flight operation for Zhob district, Balochistan.

As per reports, the PIA has resumed flight operation for Zhob on receiving requests from people belonging to Zhob in abundance. After a total of two years, an ATR plane PK-528 flew from Karachi and landed at Zhob airport, while PK-529 departed from Zhob to Karachi. 

PIA announced that passengers can now travel to Zhob, district of Balochistan with Pakistan International Airlines.

It is to note that earlier, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has also resumed its flight operations between Islamabad  and Lahore. The flight services between Islamabad and Lahore were suspended due to a surge in coronavirus cases. 

After the resumption of flights, the first flight PK-650 carrying a total of 26 passengers, took off from Lahore airport to Islamabad. The station manager and staff welcomed the flight, upon their arrival at the airport.
