6 killed in separate mishaps in Dadu

DADU - Six people were killed in different incidents here on Monday. An unknown vehicle crushed a passerby woman to death in Sehwan Sharif police precincts.
According to the police, victim Shaher Bano, 23, was crossing the road when an unknown vehicle hit her. She died on the spot but the driver, involved in the incident, managed to escape from the scene. The body was shifted to hospital for legal formalities.
In another incident, a speedy bus (route L-76) hit a motorcycle in the area of Saint Syed Gaji Shah within the jurisdictions of Gaji Shah police station, some 200-km away from here. Police said deceased Hamad Khan, 25, sustained head injuries and died on the spot. On the other hand, a man was electrocuted to death in a local bank. Deceased Akhtar, 30, was a security guard.
The body was shifted to Civil Hospital, Dadu for autopsy.
Similarly, one Imdad, 35, was working in his home when he received an electric shock. He was immediately shifted to a private hospital for treatment where doctors pronounced his death.
After legal formalities, the body was handed over to the heirs. Separately one Muhammad Khan, 28, who was working in an under-construction building at Khair Pur Nathan Shah Talukas, some 50-km away from here fell from the rooftop. According to the police, he was working when his foot got slipped. Due to severe injuries, he died on the spot. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital, Khairpur Nathan Shah for autopsy.
In another incident, a roof of the house collapsed at village Pat Kanhery in Wahi Pandhi police precincts, some 85-km away from here. A woman died while three others injured in the incident. Police said the deceased was identified as Saima, 23. She was at home when the roof collapsed. The body was shifted to Johi Taluka Hospital for autopsy.
Meanwhile, two people including a woman died while six others were injured in a road accident near Mehar area here the other day. As per details, a wagon collided with a car which is coming from opposite direction. Resultantly, Ali Khan and Saima died on the spot while six others including Jameela, Khadeeja, Samreen, Babli, Sajjan and Mansoor were seriously injured. They were shifted to Taluka Mehar Civil Hospital.
