Man hurt as India again violates ceasefire

MIRPUR (AJK) - After a pause of about a couple of days, India on Monday again violated the ceasefire agreement on the Line of Control in disputed Jammu and Kashmir by resorting to unprovoked shelling targeting the civilian population in Naizapir sector in Haveili district of AJK and injuring a local resident, said official sources.
“A local resident Ghulam Muhammad sustained serious injuries as a result of the unprovoked Indian firing on the LoC at the Naizapir sector on Monday, the incharge officer of the central control room of AJK government told this correspondent.
The injured civilian was admitted to a local hospital where he was provided treatment, he said. The firing continued intermittently till filing of this report.
