LAHORE   -   Former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, accompanied by his daughter Maryam and nephews Hamza and Yousaf Abbas, met former Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif at the NAB Lahore offices on Saturday.

The meeting, permission for which was accorded by the NAB chairman, continued for about an hour.

They exchanged views about the situation in the country and the strategy required to deal with it. Shehbaz Sharif is being interrogated in Ashiana Housing case as well as Ramzan Sugar Mills case. He denies that he committed any illegality. He was twice produced in the National Assembly for participation in the opposition-requisitioned sessions.

The PML-N has requisitioned another session of the lower house of parliament, after which the NA speaker will have to pass production orders for the former chief minister and the present leader of the lower house. Under the Constitution, the speaker is bound to call a session ithin 14 days.
