Outgoing Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General Lt-Gen Faiz Hameed paid a farewell call on Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi here on Thursday.
Mr. Qureshi commended the services of the outgoing ISI chief and expressed his best wishes over his new appointment as Commander of Peshawar Corps.
Earlier on Wednesday, incumbent Lt Gen Hameed also met President Dr Arif Alvi at Aiwan-e-Sadr, who lauded his efforts and services as the ISI DG for the security of the country.
Lt-Gen Faiz Hameed will also call on Prime Minister Imran Khan today.
It may be mentioned here that Lt-Gen Nadeem Anjum is replacing Lt Gen Hameed as the new chief of the ISI who will take his office on November 20.
