The federal cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday, concluded without deciding on the proposed constitutional amendments.
According to sources, while the meeting was expected to approve the amendments, no resolution was made.
A follow-up meeting has been scheduled for Saturday at 9:30 am to continue discussions on the matter.
