A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Langues Sans Frontieres Islamabad (LSFI) and Roots International Schools (RIS) to create a linkage between French institute and the academia in Pakistan thus resulting in economic growth and stability of the country.
Roots International Schools always look for providing multi-challenging ground to its students for academic and professional growth. RIS has accomplished the task well by introducing the third most spoken foreign language, French.
The syllabus is being designed by CEL Colmar (Language center of the Colmar Chamber of Commerce). It is divided in levels from beginners to advance. Roots International Schools is now in a position to offer French language as a compulsory subject along with German and Chinese. The introduction of French Language in Core Curriculum shall open avenues of global cooperation and students exchange programmes for the Rootsians.
With this vision the CEO RIS Walid Mushtaq has initiated Roots Foreign Languages Department. The Department of Foreign Languages has designed courses in French, German and Chinese to meet global needs and turn these foreign languages into an asset for those who intend to join multinational companies and look for opportunities abroad. The Department of Foreign Languages is headed by CEO Walid Mushtaq and Head of Foreign Languages department Kulsoom Tanvir and it consists of 200 well qualified faculty members.
Some of them have been associated with the respective countries in their own fields of professional experience. This helps the faculty members not only to teach students the foreign language, but also to expose them to the culture of these countries. In an increasingly connected world, foreign language proficiency is more important than ever. Learning another language has many cognitive, academic, and social benefits.
Langues Sans Frontieres Islamabad is a language teaching institute set up by a group of foreign qualified teachers wishing to provide high quality language courses for our community.
