LOS ANGELES-Bella Hadid may be the most popular cover girl of 2017, but she claims she is still ''trying to figure out'' how to feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Bella Hadid has confessed she doesn't feel comfortable in front of the camera.
The 21-year-old model was the most popular cover girl of 2017, having graced the cover of 28 magazines, but she claims to still be trying to build up her confidence in her career.
Bella told The Daily Telegraph newspaper: ''I'm still very uncomfortable in front of video cameras so I'm trying to figure that out. I've become confident with the people around me and myself, I've made friends with everybody so instead of it being a camera, it's about the person behind the camera. When you're comfortable with the people around you, you learn not to be so nervous and to smile.''
As well as her modelling career, Bella - who is the younger sister of model Gigi Hadid - has appeared in reality show 'Keeping Up with The Kardashians' with her close friend Kendall Jenner.
But her discomfort on film may lead her to move behind the camera in future.
Bella, who previously enrolled on a photography course at Parsons School of Design in New York before her modelling career took off, said: ''I think in the future I'm going to start shooting again, first as a hobby but maybe as a career too, eventually.''
The 2016 Model Of The Year - who is rumoured to be rekindling her romance with singer The Weeknd - also claims she is not a big shopper.
Speaking about a recent photo of her browsing the Balenciaga store in London's Mayfair, Bella said: ''I never go shopping so today was my one splurge day I've had this year.''
