LAHORE - Boxing champion Nada Pervez says she is training very hard and keen to win medals for Pakistan in Asian and Commonwealth Games. Nada, who recently won the medal in DHA National Boxing Championship, said: “There is no dearth of talent in the country and Pakistani girls are very talented. If trained and facilitated properly according to international standards, they are capable of winning international laurels for their beloved country.” The boxing champ said the new boxing body comprises professional people wants to take Pakistan boxing to new heights. “The only need of the hour is that these professional high-ups of PBF should provide Pakistani male and female boxers ample chances and facilities including proper international-standard training, coaching and equipment, conduct a good number of national events throughout the year and also send national players to abroad for training and competitions, and in return, the players will also do well at international level and win glories for Pakistan globally,” she added. “I am training very hard and focused on my target of representing my country in international events and win medals for Pakistan in Asian and Commonwealth Games,” Nada concluded.
