ISLAMABAD - The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has increased last date to apply for several jobs till 20th of this month that was earlier expired yesterday.
The decision has been taken while taking notice over the complaints received regarding stoppage of its online application submission system.
However, according to the announcement of FPSC, only those candidates would be eligible to apply who have submitted their fee within due date.
The online application receiving system of the Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) remained inactive throughout the last day of application submission for several jobs on Monday.
The FPSC is the country’s premier recruitment institution and it is expected to have the state of the art system but it proved wrong on Monday, when several aspirants to get government jobs complained that the commission’s online application system was not working.
There was the last date of application submission for hundreds of jobs in different ministries and divisions of the federal government but due to the poor online system of the FPSC, a large number of applicants could not submit their application forms.
They had demanded that the commission should provide the candidates an opportunity to at least submit a hard copy of the application when their system collapsed.
The jobs were offered in fewer than 24 categories ranging from grade 16 to 21 that includes, 204 vacancies of BS-16 assistant private secretary, 33 vacancies of BS-17 assistant director Aviation and many more.
