Not a sloggers game

Our minnows lost the first Test against Australia in Lords by the will of God. This time captain Shahid Afridi would again blame the fate of Pakistani nation because their prayers didnt work for him but he seems totally reliant on prayers most of the time. Some hard work and a game plan would probably work better for him. The kind of captaincy he does in Tests, only a miracle can give a win to us. I mean look at the way the captain batted himself in both innings at Lords. It was clear as a day in July that he is not cut for Test cricket. Nor would he ever fit into it. The PCB should evaluate the performance of the 'captain mercurial and force him to leave the job he cant do. -SARMAD ELAHI, Lahore, July 17.
