PDM merger into PTI

LAHORE - The Pakistan Democratic Party (PDP) founded by veteran politician, Nawabzada Nasrullah Khan and now led by his son Nawabzada Mansoor Khan will merge into Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) during a press conference today (Monday).  PDP Secretary General Nawaz Gondal, when contacted on Sunday said that PTI was following the agenda of change similar to their party, while the PDP leadership was considering to join hands with Imran Khan since last year. However the delay in joining PTI was occurring due to finalising one of the two options whether to make an alliance with Imran or merge the party into the PTI.
Gondal added that a meeting of the central executive committee of the PDP held on February 3 this year finally given majority vote in favour of the merger option and the party would formally merge into the PTI in a joint press conference with Imran Khan at his residence.
