LAHORE   -   Jamaat-e-Islami (JI), Emir Sirajul Haq has said that labourers, small farmers and other underprivileged segment of the society are in a miserable situation due to inflation and flawed policies of the government. Talking to a delegation of labourers at Mansoora on Thursday, he said the privatization policy of the government had created uncertainty among thousands of employees in different organizations, brining further decline to the performance of the sectors. He said the workers needed safe and secure environment to ensure their contribution for the development of Pakistan.  Therefore, he added, the government should shun the idea of privatization and prepare a plan to strengthen and turn profitable the public utilities.  This could only happen, he added, when the government would give sense of ownership to workers and took them on board in decision making process.
