PM Imran inaugurates Labour complex project in Peshawar

Prime Minister Imran Khan has inaugurated low-cost family flats for labourers at Regi Lalma in Peshawar.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony in Peshawar today, he said his government is committed to facilitate lower segments of society as per vision of the State of Madinah. He said no attention was paid to the poor class by successive regimes in past.

He said PTI is the first government, which is focusing on the welfare of the oppressed and neglected people through provision of health cards and housing facilities.

PM Imran Khan said that Pakistan has a jail for the poor and an NRO for the powerful, which is why our country was destroyed.

Today the whole mafia is trying to get NRO together but these people will never succeed in their endeavor, I will bring them under the law, said PM.

In his address, Imran Khan said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa did not give a second turn to any other party, but PTI got a two-third majority due to its performance.

According to the UN report, poverty in the province is low while human development is highest in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He said that the population of our country is growing very fast, there may be a shortage of water in the future.

The solution was to build dams fifty years ago, but this was not done. The Prime Minister hoped that by 2028, ten dams would be built in Pakistan, including Mohmand and Bhasha to take care of electricity needs and food security of the country.

Talking about the construction work on Mohmand Dams, the Prime Minister said this reservoir will be completed by 2025 and it will irrigate 17,000 acres of land, provide 300 million gallon water to the residents of Peshawar and generate cheap electricity.

It is pertinent to mention that 2,056 family flats will be distributed among registered workers of the province through balloting. Three percent quota has been reserved for widows and two percent for differently abled people.
