QUETTA - Parliamentary Secretary for Health, Dr Rubaba Khan Buledi has said that providing better healthcare facilities to the people in Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta, the sole tertiary care hospital of the province, was a challenge.
These views were expressed by her while talking to Dr. Javed Akhtar, Medical Superintendent, Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta who called on her in her office here on Saturday. Praising the measures taken by the authorities of Sandeman Provincial Hospital, Quetta for operationalising the departments of the hospital in order to provide healthcare facilities to the patients, she said that more steps were required to be taken so as to provide better healthcare facilities to the people.
She said that all issues of the hospital be addressed in compliance with the directives of Balochistan High Court before submitting report before the High Court of Balochistan. She directed MS, SPH, Quetta to utilise all resources and energies so that SPH could be made an exemplary healthcare institution of the province.
