High-level trade team to visit India



LAHORE – A high-level delegation of Pakistani parliamentarians and businessmen is visiting India to meet their counterparts on 23-24 August 2012, in New Delhi. It was stated by Iftikhar Ali Malik, Vice President, SAARC CCI, who is heading the delegation. He is of strong opinion that exchange of such high profile delegation can help explore untapped cooperation on socio-cultural and politico-economic levels, says press release.
While political issues remain important, meaningful talks on economic issues, can move forward for development and prosperity of their people, He however emphasised that it is high time for the Govt. of Pakistan to open investment for India enterprises to reciprocate Indian recent offer of investment from Pakistan. Business community will encourage taking these bold steps to make South Asia an economic powerhouse that will benefit its over one billion people, he said.
