LAHORE - A mother of two children yesterday ended her life by swallowing poisonous pills at her house in Hanjarwal police area.

The deceased was identified as Aasia Bibi. Her in-laws told the police that Aasia took poisonous pills after she exchanged harsh words with her husband Imran over domestic dispute. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced as brought dead.

The police detained her husband and removed the body to the morgue for an autopsy. Further investigations were underway.
