Murad vows to implement NAP; stresses on madaris registration

KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah said today that the national action plan would be implemented in its letter and spirit, adding that all madaris would be registered across the province.

Chairing a provincial cabinet meeting here, the chief minister said that the registration of the all madaris was very important and urged the religious seminaries to cooperate with the government, which would in turn provide all sort of help to madaris.

Advisor on legal affairs Murtaza Wahab presented a bill regarding registration of madaris.

According to Senator Saeed Ghani the cabinet discussed in detail "Deeni Madaris Registration Bill". The cabinet members raised relevant queries, which were responded to by a law advisor. After discussion, the cabinet constituted a committee to further discusses the "Deeni Madaris Registration Bill" headed by the Law advisor.
