Asif Ali Zardari bashes federal govt on 'throwing' country into turmoil

Co-chairman Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari, while reviewing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf’s (PTI’s) performance said that Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan-led federal government threw  the country into turmoil by repeated experiments.

Addressing the media in Nawabshah on Monday, the PPP leader said that only his party owned what was required to run the country efficiently.

“PPP has successfully dealt with every challenge thrown at it in the past… and we are still ready [to run the country’s affairs],” he added.

“First let go of these rulers, then talk to us, then we will show you how to run this country.”

Zardi said that country had to face the sugar crises during reign of former military ruler Pervez Musharraf when both sugar and flour had to be imported to fulfill local demands.

“We ended the crisis within a year of coming to power and started exporting these items,” he maintained. “Whoever comes against the people s power, whether he is Sardar or Mir or Pir, everyone should remember that the people s vote is ours and the time to come belongs to the PPP.”

Moreover, the co-chairman PPP had warned that some foreign elements were conspiring to disintegrate Pakistan.

"The world wants to break Pakistan," he reiterated that PPP workers will put all out efforts to ensure public satisfaction.

"We want to make Pakistan a successful country for generations to come," Zardari added that if a person is not ready to breath his last in Pakistan then he must not be given the stake of making national decisions.

"We belong to this land and we will die here," he had emphasized.
