Outgoing Indonesian envoy calls on governor

KARACHI - Governor Sindh Mohammad Zubair has said that Pakistan and Indonesia enjoy very warm and brotherly relations since long which are based on trust and mutual respect.

This he said while talking with the outgoing Consul General of Indonesia in Karachi Dempo Awang Yuddie here on Monday. Governor Sindh said there was an urgent need to further boost these ties with even more economic cooperation between the two countries. As economic activities hold the secret of success for any Country we must do our utmost to further expand and enhance trade between Pakistan and Indonesia, he added.

He said that in last five years Karachi has become more peaceful and vibrant as compared to 2013. Economic, social, cultural, literary and sports activities are in full swing here which is depicted from continuous international events.

He lauded the services of Dempo Awang for making untiring efforts to further cement the relations between two countries. He also appreciated his role in providing help and assistance to the people of the province during time of need.

Dempo Awang thanked the support and cooperation from all stakeholders during his posting period in Karachi.

 He said that he is taking back fond memories with him.
