Lawyers attack Islamabad High Court

Every department and member associated with the system of ensuring justice is respected and honoured, because the establishment of peace in society is the guarantor of the country’s development and prosperity. Law enforcers stormed the Islamabad High Court in protest of the demolition of the illegal lawyers’ chambers in the Islamabad Court and damaged the building. This led to the forcible closure of courts in District Court and suspension of proceedings in all courts even in Islamabad.
The Capital Development Authority as part of the campaign alleged illegal chambers were demolished in the parking area and on the right-hand side of the district court, to which the lawyers reacted strongly. They also chanted slogans against it.
It is also a matter of concern that the Special Security Police was not present in the Chief Justice’s Block. At the moment, they are apparently in crisis. There have been such incidents in the past and especially in the lower courts where the situation is very disturbing where it has become common practice to behave rudely with the judges.
Who does not know that the bar and the bench are in accordance with the legal requirements of justice and timely delivery? It is the responsibility of the lawyers’ leadership to train their community and make them polite, which has been their way of discriminating, while the state is responsible for the security of the courts so that in future such incidents could be avoided.
