‘Dead’ child wakes up during funeral

GUJRANWALA - A child, who was mistakenly pronounced dead by a quake, woke up during his funeral in Tatlaywali area here on Saturday.
Samiullah,2, went unconscious and was taken to a quake named Munir by her mother Nazia and the former pronounced the child started crying when he was given final wash for funeral. The child was then taken to Civil Hospital immediately to ensure the provision of proper medical treatment by qualified professionals.
Nazia told the media that her child was unconscious so she took him to the doctor who pronounced him dead.
 Dr Anwar Aman, the Medical Superintendent of the Civil Hospital said that quackery was a curse which should be dealt with sternly. He added that quacks have been endangering the lives of the masses and this incident should be an eye opener for the masses.
