Illegal vehicles bazaar poses security risk

RAWALPINDI  - Illegal vehicles weekly bazaar is continuing on Benazir Bhutto Road from Chandni chowk to 6th Road flyover due to negligence of district administration.
Ban is in place on setting up this weekly bazaar known as Jumma bazaar in official papers but it is held on every Friday with impunity flouting the ban orders. Due to this Jumma bazaar the vehicular traffic comes to stand still and the citizens have to face a severe traffic jam on Murree road. The sixth road fly over has also lost its utility due to operationalization of this vehicle weekly bazaar.
This Jumma bazaar is not only a perpetual source of nuisance for the citizens due to persistent traffic mess up they have to face on the road but it has also turned into safe heaven for the stolen vehicles as it is encouraging the car lifting offence. The stolen cars and other vehicles are sold out blatantly with tempering the chasis and documents.
This weekly bazaar is mainly organized by the owners of show rooms and sale of stolen vehicles is the main feature of this bazaar. Due to lack of security arrangements, this bazaar is posing terror attack threat at the congested Murree road. The citizens have demanded crackdown against the organisers of this illegal weekly bazaar and slapping of heavy fines against them for violating ban orders.
