Bullet-riddled bodies of lady doctor, 3 children found in Lahore

Lahore - Police on Wednesday found the bullet-riddled bodies of a mother and her three children from a house in Gajjumata, Kahna area.

The incident occurred in Gajjumata locality of Kahna area where a lady doctor and her three children have been shot dead. Bloodstains were found at different places and three kids have been identified as Mahnoor (16), Jannat Fatima (8) and Taimur (21)

According to the police, the bodies of the lady doctor Dr Naheed Mubarik (40) and her three children including two daughters Mahnoor (16), Jannat Fatima (8) and a son Taimur (21) were found from the house. 

SSP Investigation and Operations reached the crime scene and started collecting the forensic evidences under their supervision. Police said that Dr Naheed was a gynecologist and was running a clinic, adding that the lady doctor and her children were shot dead in a gun attack. The deceased bodies have been sent for autopsy and investigations are on.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and Punjab Inspector General of Police Rao Sardar Ali Khan after taking notice of the multiple killings have sought a report from the Capital city Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore. The Chief Minister directed to arrest the culprits at the earliest and vowed to provide justice to the deceased family. Meanwhile, The Punjab IG directed that the incident be investigated with the help of forensic teams and legal action be taken against the accused as soon as possible.  Sardar Ali Khan said that the incident should be investigated while keeping in view all aspects.
