Bahawalpur - Commissioner Bahawalpur Division Captain(Retd) Muhammad Zafar Iqbal has said that the problems of Bahawalpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry will be solved on priority basis and all resources will be utilized for speedy construction and completion of Industrial Estate Bahawalpur. He expressed these views in a meeting with a delegation led by President Chamber of Commerce and Industries Bahawalpur Hafiz Muhammad Younas at the Commissioner’s Office. The delegation included Senior Vice President Ahmed Ali Jabbar, Vice President Mansoor Ahmed, Former President Chaudhry Abdul Jabbar, Former President Mubashir Hussain, Former President Javed Iqbal Chaudhry and Secretary General Syed Abeer Haider.  The President informed about the construction work of the Chamber of Commerce and Industries Industrial Estate and mentioned the problems faced.  They discussed industrial column registration and other issues.  Commissioner Bahawalpur assured the delegation of Chamber of Commerce of all possible cooperation.

DC calls forcompletion 

of drainage work

Deputy Commissioner Irfan Ali Kathia visited Maqbool colony Bahawalpur.  He directed to complete the drainage work on the vacant plot in front of the fair street as soon as possible. On this occasion, Director General PHA Baqa Muhammad Jam, Municipal Officer Finance Abdul Hakim Anjum, Metropolitan Corporation Engineer Imran Maqbool and other concerned officers were present.  

The Deputy Commissioner said that the sanitation arrangements in the Maqbool colony should be improved and the construction work of the park should be completed in a better manner.
