LAHORE - Saeed Abdul and Zaynab Khan lifted the trophies in the 2nd Karachi Open Challenging Squash Championship 2022 that concluded at PN Roshan Khan Jahangir Khan Squash Complex Karachi. The men’s title was lifted by Saeed Abdul, who played superb squash against Naveed Rehman and overpowered him by 3-1 in 30 minutes as the score was 11-8, 12-10, 13-15, 17-15. The women’s title was clinched by Zaynab Khan, who outclassed Ilsa Imran 3-0 in 19 minutes with the score being 11-7, 11-5, 11-4. In the Under-17 boys final, M Zaman beat Labeeb Butt 3-1 in 32 minutes as the score was 11-4, 9-11, 11-8, 11-4 while the Under-13 title was claimed by Huzaifa Shahid, who played well against Abdul Ahad and overwhelmed 3-1 with the score being 11-6, 5-11, 11-8, 11-9. Ali Shahid graced the concluding ceremony as chief guest and distributed trophies among the winners and runners-ups.
