Punjab government allocating sufficient funds for education sector: Yawar Abbas

Attock   -   Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Bait ul Maal Syed Yawar Abbas Bokhari has said that Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar is going out of the way and allocating sufficient funds for education sector. He said this while addressing a ceremony held in connection with upgradation of Government Girls Primary School Kot Nawab Khan to Elementary level at the cost of Rs 10 million. On the occasion, CEO Education Mohsin Abbas Malik, DEOs Akram Zia and Kazim Shah and Dy DEO Syed Taqi Shah were also present. Provincial Minister said that upgradation of this school will facilitate girl students to seek education upto middle level nearest to their homes and praised the performance of education department Attock for bagging first position in enrolment drive across the Punjab.   Syed Yawar Abbas Bokhari said that during this financial year, Rs 43.8 billion had been allocated for Insaf schools, Danish schools, provision of free text books and non-salary budget. Yawar Bokhari while talking about development of his constituency said that Rs 10 billion will be spent on completion of different development projects which include Attock University, mother and child hospital.

upgradation of DHQ Hospital, Thalassemia hospital, trauma centres in Gondal and DHQ Hospital and dualisation of Attock Haji Shah Road. He said that these projects will bring a revolutionary change in the life of the people of Attock and said that by the end of this year every resident of Attock will have Insaf Health Cards.
