Monetary row kills two sisters

SARGODHA - Two real sisters were gunned down over a monetary dispute here in Village 71/NB in the remit of Jhal Chakian Police on Thuesday.
As per detail, two sisters namely 30-year-old Gulshaan, wife of Sohail and 35-year-old Zeenat, wife of Gulzar, residents of Chak-71/NB were at loggerheads over a dispute on Rs0.4 million with their cousins namely Javed, son of Mian Muhammad and Amir, son of Naseer Ahmad, residents of the same locality. The other night they again had a quarrel over the issue during which Javed and Amir shot both the sisters dead.
On information, the police reached the scene and took the bodies to DHQ Hospital for medico-legal formalities. On the report of deceased Gulshaan’s husband, the Jhal Chakian Police have registered a case against the culprits. Meanwhile, some relatives the accused claimed that they killed their cousins to “preserve honour”.
